Spare Parts Shipping Cost?

I was wondering if there was any way to avoid paying shipping for $2 parts that I might order from time to time (replacing broken parts)? My local store (Sherwin-Williams) says Festool would charge them for the shipping to the store, unless it was part of a larger batch order. I was wondering if this was the case for all stores? If so, I'm afraid there may not be much I can do to avoid paying $7 for a $2 part!

Pretty sure youll have to pay shipping no matter where you get the parts. I know I have. So just order more stuff at once. Thats how I do it! I mean come on, there is ALWAYS something more to buy!

Oh there is, but the wife has me on a Festool restricted diet. Can't blame her...

The only way around it is at your local dealer. And they would have to put it on there order.
