Spray Equipment

Thanks, Rod.  The "transport-the-workpiece" technique that you described is exactly what I used to do with solvent based spray finishing - carrying the warm workpiece outside and spray it quickly before it and my spray gun's contents cooled down.  If I am using spray cans (as I have done with Minwax PU varnish), I warm them by setting them in a pail of warm water.  Doing so reduces the viscosity of the liquid to be sprayed and raises the pressure of the propellant within the can.

I should have another project to try soon.  I am about to make a large cabinet (~25"D X 84"H X 36"W) with HD shelf/drawer slides (from Lee Valley) to store most of my garage and automotive maintenance supplies such as motor oil, antifreeze, etc. and non-WB finishing materials and solvents.  Due to the size of this cabinet, I am thinking of cutting the parts to size using my TS 55 and Guide Rails, then finishing them, then cutting the dados, rabbets, domino mortises, 32mm shelf holes etc. and then gluing them together.  By the time I get around to finishing these parts, it may be snowing where I live (NE Ohiio).
