Spray finish setup

The chart above is for the fine finish tips.

The regular RAC style tips, which are odd numbered, work effectively on the handheld units with higher orifice sizes. We have used 515's regularly on the Pro Shot. It has plenty of power to move heavier viscosity products through that orifice size. The high end of the power band has no issues. Over the years, its evolution has been more challenged to harness it down to lower pressures and flow needs for finer finishing. This technology is entering its 7th year and I am expecting some big improvements in it over the next year or two.

RAC X blue colored are odd numbered 211, 213, etc.  The RAC X green colored fine finish or FF tips are the even numbered or 208, 210, etc.

Using the blue spray tips in the Pro Shot Fine Finish is more or less like using the FF tips in a Truecoat Pro II, it works.

I called my local Sherwin Williams just blocks from me and they don't even have the Graco GX19 in their system to order.

I found O-Gee paint in FL, their website showing 'call for availability'. Armando was great on the phone, receipt emailed instantly, will be drop shipped from Graco. Have plenty of projects in 2017 where I can use the GX19, and it should be faster to lay down paint than my Fuji setup.

Thats odd. Should be available through any SW. Wonder if you got the new guy behind the counter.

Glad you were able to source it. Great little rig.

Scott, how loud is the gx19?

My company runs the GX19 and the 395 Finish Pro II, among others.

The GX19 is new this year, and we have been testing it for 18 months. It is a great cost effective alternative to air assisted, at about 1/3 the price of a FPII.

It depends on the frequency of use and typical quantities involved when choosing between the two. The FPII is obviously the best around.

But it is good to have a value option.

Here is our review of the GX:

If you're interested in getting a pump through SW I'd recommend that you talk to your rep. If you have a commercial account you're automatically assigned a rep, even if you don't know who they are.

They can help you with pricing in your pump and you should also talk to them about pricing on any SW paints you might be using.
