Just got my CT MIDI and did a quick check.

Everything is OK except some dust on the body (like it has been demoed or tried) and the on/off switch comes with some noise like squeaking.

Don't know if the switch noise is normal........ just an uncomfortable sound.

Any owner noticed same issue?.......

Thanks!

I never had a squeaky switch on any of my CTs. Is it the switch itself squeaking , like plastic on plastic? Or is the vac motor making a squeak?

Dust?  Maybe just disply  but not demoed?  Check inside for dust.  Must have been out of the box at some point long enough to collect dust. If it is concerning you , you should contact the dealer.

Thanks, it's the switch itself squeaking... I think it's brand new just this tiny problem.

As  quick fix, and one that shouldn't cause any harm. Spray a small shot of DRY LUBE spray, not silicone, into the switch plastic. Teflon dry lube spray stops many plastic-on-plastic noises for me. Won't usually attract any dust either. Or try blowing the switch out to see if any dust go trapped in there before trying any lube at all.  [unsure]

Just update a bad news:  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I sent this CT midi to seller through USPS and paid 35.25$ to USPS(From Oregon to NY).  But there dealer didn't get the package in 3 weeks. And USPS didn't give me a tracking number because I already write the address on the box and I chosed the cheapest shipment.

Now 35.25 is gone. CT Midi is gone.

I am a unlucky guy.

I should always buy things from Amazon or local dealer especially for these expensive tools........

Really the worst buying experience ever. Paied 400$+ for a shopping lesson.

Sorry to hear about your terrible situation.  Because of stories like yours I also ship with insurance.

Have you checked with the Post Office to see what they can do.  You might not have had a tracking number, but when you paid you should have gotten a receipt with an article number that the Post office might be able to use.
