Stacked CT's

Great Setup!

I hope that someone from Festool offers their thoughts.  I doubt that there would be an issue with the way that you have them hooked up..

One of the lesser written about features of the discontinued CT's was the ability to daisy chain them together with the inlet of the downstream unit hooked up to the exhaust port of the first one in line.  Also not written about too often was the ability to hook a hose to the exhaust port and vent it outside.

I was told that these features were not included on the CT-26, 36, etc. partially because users didn't use those features very often.

I am also going to move this thread into the Ask Festool area to highlight it for them.

is there any official info on these features.
vanting outside sounds good but plugging one vac into another wont get you any increase in suction

Alan,

I don't know if there is any "official" documentation, but I will find the thread where I remember it being discussed.  That thread will take us way back down memory lane here.  As far as increased suction, I believe that combined two does increase the suction.

I'll go find the thread where it was talked about.

Nice, I was expecting to get flamed out on this one!
The mini is the new mini with the new features. Can't tell you how much I love thaT little vac!
With the black short hose that came with the vortex hooked up to the mini, i can put my hand over the hose end and lift the mini off the ground and hold it there  [eek]

Once again, thanks Festool!

Just by the homeowners for turning their kitchen island into a workbench...  [big grin]

I found the thread I was thinking about.  Talk abou the CT'S starts on page 2 of the thread and what I was thinking about is on page three, but grab a cup of coffee and start from the beginning.  You will read about first impressions of tools that we now consider commonplace.

That was a really great experience for those members who attended and also those who read about it.

I use my ct-22 all the time to exhaust air out of a customers house.  Works great when you have to use something with a funky odor inside someone's house.

Leave your feet outside or wear socks.  [tongue]
