Thinking about it ... that the Trek authors went along this is some SERIOUS commendation to Tanos and Festo in retrospect.
Just think what other *current* brand managed to get a product placement of their *current* product in a sci-fi series of that caliber .. to a set that is at least a century up ahead ...
Back when I was still on Facebook, after that episode aired, someone would post a screenshot of a Systainer from The Mandalorian almost daily, and I don't think I ever made it more than a week without someone new posting it.
And on here once or twice, but not nearly to the same extent.
