Just took delivery of my new STM 1800.  I started the assembly and got to the part where you screw wood to the extension pieces.  OMG!  what kind of screws are these so-called "Cross Recess screw heads"  None of my bits work on this darn thing AND most important, for a $1000 item why in the world would Festool NOT include the screw head bit.  A year or so ago I bought a box of deck screws that turned out to be a star-drive screw head AND the Screw Mfg threw in the star drive bit just in case.  Festool does not do this and now I am stuck.  I tried buying the same screw with a phillips on it but the small head causes my phillips bit to slip out and destroy the head.  Can someone point me to where the heck I can find this darn bit

It's a Torx T-10. Just put mine together this past weekend. Luckily I had a cheapie laying around haha!

The table is great! But why you guys don't send the bead for the screw and the Allen key for screwing the wheels. The screw you send for the wood to attach to the handles broke easily. Come on guys I'm spending so much money for this table and you can't include those items. IKEA does a better job including the Allen key and a screw driver base on the type of

I predrilled the holes for mine.  I don't know why Festool didn't at least do that.  And why those screws aren't shorter and fatter.

I just used a screw driver to get them started then my C 12.

I just removed the plastic end cap so if I dropped a screw it made it easy to retreieve.

Also the holes in the arm are big enough to stick a finger in helpping to support the screw while useing the screw driver
