Stupid question about limited edition blue systainers

Tanos should have a build your own systainer option where you can order the systainer, handle and tloc whatever colors you like. They already have all the parts.

There have been experiments of this in Europe.  I've done some custom orders.  At the moment I've not scaled out because it requires a bit of a larger inventory investment and updates in logistics/fulfillment.  If there is a color scheme you are interested in, feel free to hit me with an email or PM and we can see what we can work out.  Doing smaller, custom orders helps me to judge the economics and business decision.

And they used to have exactly that on their website, a systainer configurator. Can't find it anymore now so they probably canned it. But just like Systainer.store above offered, there are online dealers that can get you any configuration you want.

Just lovely, isn't it?

That particular color combination is awful! There are some other good looking combinations for sure on that thread though.

[member=67056]ColossusX[/member] I don't have a color configurator on my site, but I have put together and delivered orders with non-standard color schemes.  I'm doing this as a custom order right now rather than a full offering through Systainer.Store as there is a bit to learn about choice, logistics, and stock before it could be a standard offering.  Just drop an email (hello[member=68900]Systainer.Store[/member]) and let me know what you are interested in.

Did Tanos have their own configurator? Don't think I ever saw that. The one I've used is . . .

Wish a US dealer had a color configuration.

Here's another comparison in color between the Festool limited edition blue Systainers and a standard Tanos Systainer in sapphire blue.

Here's a Festool Sys 2 from Tool Nut vs the Tanos Sys 1 in sapphire. This combo is used for the RAS and its abrasives.

The RAS abrasives insert 700831, in a Tanos Sys 1.

The Tanos costs 70% what the Festool costs, for the exact same systainer. I frankly couldn't care less if the blue matches.

Well that's certainly interesting...the Tanos Sys 1 in light grey or anthracite are both $76 from Woodcraft, while the Festool Sys 1 in light grey from Festool is also $76. I'm confused where the 30% discount is coming in?

The Tanos Sys 1 in sapphire was $84.

Woodcraft eat up the 30%  [tongue], the light grey on L.V. is $62.50USD

[member=44099]Cheese[/member] real nice systainer colours.  I'm guessing you robbed the Festool green handle from the Pro5 LE systainer or Cooltainer for your Sapphire Blue Sys?  I'd really like a supply of the Festool green handles but I've never found any for sale.
