Stupid question about TRC 3 battery charger capacity

Would I be able to use my Festool TRC 3 charger that came with a 15+3 drill to charge an 18v Festool LiIon battery?

The charger does say the output is 7.2-18V but the output also says 3A.

I'm guessing it would charge an 18V battery, even an 18V-5Ah battery but would take significantly longer than a 3Ah battery?

Yes, you can use it with all 12-18v batteries.
