Have they made the smaller vacuums more powerfull? In the specifications of all European festool sites it now states that those vacs have 3700l/m suction power (versus 3800 of the older ct22/33 and 3900 of the ctl26/36).
It used to be 2800l/m for the mini and midi.

I think it's just a typo in a central database or else they would have made a bigger deal of announcing it.

That's good question.  I suppose it's possible the turbine/motor were redesigned similar to the newest CTs.  At some point we're getting the Mini/Midi with HEPA filters maybe at this same time we'll also get more horses under the hood.

The suction power is 24000 Pa for the new 2013 CTL midi and Mini

In the new CTL Midi the suction flow is still 3700l/min. This is at the turbine.
At the hose the suction flow has decreased from approximately 2400l/min to 1600l/min.
The new hose has a tapered form 32 --> 27 mm. The old one was 27 mm.

I don't know if the new CTL is therefore worse than the old one (before sept 2013)

Is there anyone how can explain this further.

err... how much is that in "bars"?? [tongue]  [popcorn]

24000 Pa = 0,24 Bar = 3,48 pounds/square inch

but that is not what my question was about.
It is the flow which has been decreased.

Maybe someone else?
