How about "The Latest Dumb Thing I've Done", or some similar title?

I doubt that I'm alone in making dumb mistakes in nearly every project, especially if it's a first-time-through project--which, in fact, is the kind of project I enjoy most. Repetition is safe ground, but not as interesting.

So, we all make mistakes, and we all find ways to correct the mistake and/or avoid it in the future, and those solutions often end up being valuable lessons or techniques that can be shared to the benefit of others.

Do you mean suggestion for new forum section, topic, thread or are you starting your own venture?  [unsure]

If you're starting a new venture, how about DOG?  Delta Owners Group or DeWalt Owners Group or conversely, FOG, Feline Owners Group.

For a similar title suggestion:

"The Latest Dumb Thing I've Done, and How I Recovered From It."

I should have clearer:  I don't mean a different forum, I'm suggesting a forum section, or topic, for here at FOG.

I see no need for this new forum- but maybe that's because I never make mistakes or do anything dumb...... [big grin]

Well you made your first mistake on here already!  suggesting to make a new Forum haahaaa!

See what I mean?

Any suggestion on how to fix it?

This is not the first time such a topic has been suggested- It's not a bad idea in my opinion, and I've opined before that one way to know your'e in a circle of good woodworker friends, is when y'all sit around and laugh at, and admit mistakes...I've made my share, if you saw my right hand- you'd agree!  but I'm afraid the sad truth is, on an internet forum there will emerge, um, "inflated egos" who will choose to poke fun at good hearted folk in order to make themselves feel superior.
C'est la vie...
