Having acquired each of the Festool routers has left me with some redundant non-Festool routers.

What's the best way to sell stuff like this?

first . stick an on here and see if any of your fellow fogers want them.
second ebay.

i personally would keep them . you can never have too many

FT makes a decent router, but it's not the best end-all-be-all for every application.  the el'chepo PC 690 ($99) fixed base is a way better docetail jig router at a fraction of the price.  If you have some routers sitting around, set them for a production task and just leave them alone...  I've got about a dozen routers at the moment.

Lack of space is my limiting factor.

I also hate to see nice tools just gathering dust when someone could be enjoying using them.

I sold my surplus tools through ebay classifieds or craigslist. I'm all in favour of moving unused tools on and only keeping the essentials, plus the proceeds defray the costs of new ones. Most of the time new woodworkers have picked them up, so they are getting into the hobby cheaply.

I keep all of my old "crapy" tools in a duffle bag...called my bitch bag. That is where the tools that are ok to lend go.  I tell my friends if its is in the bag ,ok, if it is in the white boxes stay away.:)

I have had better luck with craigslist lately, if you post them on craigslist also post them in a few of the closest towns/cities to your city also, opens up how many people will see it for sale
