Hey guys,
I have been searching but i cant find an answer to my question. wondering if you can help?
Im making a gaming table out of Ash and connecting the legs to the rail with domino connectors, however I dont want the access port visible and there will be a top rail to cover that.
My question is, can the connectors be used horizontally as per the picture below?

So the rail and filler are glued as a single piece, the rail itself is 40mm width by 80mm vertically at the thickest point. my plan is to use the connector on top and a beech domino below. the top rail will be attached with nut inserts as it will have removable leaves.
Worst case i guess i could use the connectors top and bottom but that seems overly expensive as well as overkill
Cheers!
Craig
