Swedish wall

screw length 800 mm, it is rather the threaded rods that are cut to size.
process and not a lot ..

Lol, that's one huge drill you got there. Please stay away from our dykes.  [tongue]

Surprised they ordered you to make such a rack, here these things come standard off the shelf.

This must be a European thing.  We have the weirdest exercise trends over here, but I've never seen one of those.  Any links to someone using it?

You can climb on them, hang from them, hang and lift your feet up in different ways, you can attach a board with hooks at one end to different heights/angle to do uphill crunches, you can hook your toes under it to do level crunches on the floor, you can do X's by standing with one foot and one hand on the rails and a multitude of other stuff that I can't even dream of. Every school here has a whole wall of these.

It's not exactly a trend here, this climbing rack has been standard gym equipment since I don't know how long. My parents who are in their 70's now already had these things around in their youth.

You can see some exercises in the vid below. If you go to the YouTube page of this vid you can find more examples in the side bar.

Vadim 10. Work out on sweden (wall-mount) ladder.

I've seen them in plenty of gyms here and had them in my school gyms.

[thumbs up] Nice work, Rembo!

Thank you!
Maybe those who have not seen it, probably did not learn in school. [scared]  [big grin]

I remember them at my old school in holland. Only difference was the one at my old school could be set on a incline by just unlocking the bottom and rolling the bottom out away from the wall.

This was normally done when we played   apenkooi.  I use to love that game!  They wouldnt allow it in England because of health and safety.

Lol, apekooien, that was great yeah. More a game than a sport but it sure helped to be athletic. I always climbed up in the ropes to the roof so no one could catch me.

I know the moveable climbing racks you mention, they're the newer type. Not exactly the same as those pictured above, they have a larger distance between the bars.

Not surprised to hear apekooien isn't allowed in England.

Haahaa I did the same always go right to the top of the rope and held onto the metal rail fixed to the ceiling. Ceilings in gyms are pretty high.  Only two of us where brave enough to go to the top.  To be fair if you fell you would be pretty much dead.  If the other lad was it and started climbing the rope I would have to transfer between ropes which wasn't really the safest thing to do.

British kids are missing out because of Healy and safety.

Yeah the rails where further apart from the ones Rambo made.  I use to use them as a get away and often try and jump through them catching my chin on the bar in the process.
