Sweepstakes for Festool’s 90th anniversary! 10 FOG members will win CXS drills

As you’ve maybe heard, 2015 marks Festool’s 90th anniversary. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be doing a series of sweepstakes to give away limited-edition 90 Year CXS drills, and we're starting here on the FOG!

From now through this Sunday, FOG members can enter to win a 90 Year CXS drill! And we will be giving them away to 10 winners! All you need to do is click on the link below and register for your chance to win.

You have until Sunday, October 18 at 11:59 p.m. ET to enter. Next Monday we will select 10 winners at random.

Someone should take a look at the official rules page, as doesn't seem to jibe with your description and there are some obvious oversights.

Oversight: no dates listed on the sweepstakes period:

1) SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Festool Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") starts at midnight Eastern Time on October, 2015 and ends at 11:59p Eastern Time on October, 2015 (the "Sweepstakes Period").

Rules:

1 Grand Prize: Festool power tools and accessories chosen by Sponsor. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of Grand Prize: approximately $1,000.00 (USD).

But the description says there will be 10 winners of a CXS, which is currently sold for $255 (or $285 for the set)

The rules are actually from the old sweepstakes site, which we're in the process of overhauling as we speak. The rules for this contest should be updated there shortly.

So I've got a sticker that doesn't work and because I live in the UK I can't even enter a competition to win a Festool drill. I'm feeling very upset. Maybe I'll just stick with my Ryobi drill!

I believe the UK already had its contest.  You might need a hug.  A lot of let downs in one day lol,  first your sticker fail, second not being to enter the free drill contest.

Interestingly, the rules now state the contest is going on now, and there is 1 prize worth $255, but the contest page doesn't have a way to enter.  Something is really out of sync here.
