SYS-AZ Drawer Mobile Use Longevity Question

The SYS-AZ Drawers have been out for a while now.  Festool says not to used them in vehicles.  Pictures here an other media show me that they have been widely used in such applications.

IMHO they $50 price tag more than offsets the effort required to build my own drawers.

If you have experience with them in your van/truck I'd be interested in hearing them.

No in truck disclaimer.  But note that nothing secures the boxes down other than the drawer above it - which is probably where that legal disclaimer comes from. 

Technically the SYS3 rails don't either, but it's a lot harder to detach it from the rail during a crash/roll event.

If you do use the SYS-AZ, make sure your top drawer has a hard plate above it to secure the contents, in addition to using the handle lock.

Yeah, I would assume that it's a liability issue. They were never intended for that purpose, so not tested for it.
