Not a review but some comments for anyone considering purchase
Ratchet handle and sockets. The handle is a rebadged Wera so no problem there. The sockets are fairly heavyweight and badged Festool, they are not the usual Wera chrome vanadium finish but a black anodised surface, however the shape and design suggest they may be Wera in origin.
Centrotec handle. The usual fare.
2 short and 1 long bit holders. Usual Festool centrotec so not much to say. Spring loaded bit holder, looks like a Wera Rapidaptor.
2 centrotec chucks and twin box of bits, the usual - no comment
Auto locking 5 metre tape measure. Centimetres only but matt surface so easier to read. Belt hook
Forstner bits. For anyone expecting the usual Zobo style bits these are a big disappointment. The centre points are not interchangeable and the overall finish is not as good as the Zobos. Just hope they cut as cleanly.
Short centrotec bits. PZ2, PZ3, TX20, 25, 30, 40
Normal bits. A selection of PZ2, PZ3, PH2, PH3, TX15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50
Pocket knife. Festool branded lock knife with a wide blade 80mm in length. Feels well made
Folding carpenters rule. Rebadged Hultafors. 2 metres long. Better than the freebie ones given away at the roadshow.
2 Festool pencils
Auger bits. 200mm in length. 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18mm diameter. Feel reasonably heavyweight. Will have to try them to see if they are any good.
In my view a slightly unusual selection of centrotec accessories with some added extras. The 'Zobos' are a real disappointment and are obviously a cheaper alternative to the standard Festool offering. Unless you particularly want the set I think you would get better value by buying a dedicated Wera socket set, some real Festool Zobos and the auger bits when they become available.
Will try the auger bits and Forstner bits and compare to my proper Festool Zobos
