Anyone have one? Would like to hear what you think of it..I am debating something to put my stack on, and the sys roll makes sense. Seems to have the same functionality of the sys-cart. I do move my tools alot from place to place. Just want to hear if anyone has any experience with it.

They aren't available here yet, when they are I'm pretty sure I'll be buying one.  Do a search here because I remember a good thread from some of our overseas members.

Thanks guys, I didn't know it wasn't shipping yet. Some websites have it "shipping in 24hours". I am looking forward to this, looks really nice. I think my intention on getting the sys-cart will be kicked aside for the sys-roll.

And it just so happens I own a Midi, so it will fit on this thing!. Thx for the link Sal!

I am seriously more excited about this roll cart then i have been for something in a really long time.  [big grin] just about every day I take 3 minutes and poke around the online dealers seeing if its available for order yet. I wish we had a more exact date then Q1  [blink]

Sorry to say, but it's actually a less specific date. My ETA thread says "first half", not "first quarter". More information will be made public soon regarding an exact date of availability. Hang tight.

No need to scour dealer websites. I'm sure it will be posted about here by 3-4 dealers in multiple threads within minutes of them getting notified.  [big grin]

We've just started selling them here in NZ. A bit disapointed the up rights are plastic. Well the whole thing is plastic really. Its only rated at 100KG.
And on top of that it costs $235 NZ here. Very pricey for something thats 98% plastic. I dont see us selling alot of them at that price. But I could be wrong.

I've played with one at my local dealer. I don't have a need for something like this, but if I did - I wouldn't be rushing to get one on these unless it is was really cheap.

Why can't they make a trolley that folds out to a narrow MFT ?  [wink]

Richard,

I think they just have two when she says COPY . I wouldn't bother you can buy a brand new one for £99 from several UK dealers

I'd encourage anyone interested in these to try them out before buying; I bought one as soon as they were available here in the UK and I've tried - really tried - to like it, but I really, *really* don't. I stopped using it within a week or so, I think, and it lives under a bench in the workshop now, just in case I ever need to take my Kapex anywhere.

So, not for me, but YMMV, as always.

Pete

Thanks joiner1970 - that just didn't occur to me.
Did take a (surprised) second take on the price - but thanks for the heads up.
Must say I quite fancy one.  If it worked out, could actually see me getting a couple.
Pete:  I guess you might have posted the reasons for your dis-satisfaction.
Could you give a quick reminder of the reasons.
Cheers
Richard.

I've looked at them and tried them out but I won't be getting one. I think festool should have made it in metal, forgot all about having the drawer and made it foldable. I will stick with my foldable sack trolley for now.

Mmm.
I use one of those sack-trucks that has an additional long plate that can be folded down to support big things (had it for donkeys years.)
Plus it has two extra (smaller) wheels that can be folded down, so it can be wheeled along dead easy (on the four wheels) with the 'stack' leaning back perhaps about 30+ degrees.  Really versatile/strong and can carry really big heavy things over the rough/bumpy ground.
Problem is that too big / unwieldy for a lot of what I now do - hence my interest in the SysRoll.
In view of what's being written, reckon need to carefully check out alternatives -with the one I already have as back-up if needed.
Richard.

I've got the wolfcraft one. It's smaller than the festool one but still takes a big stack of systainers or I can use it for appliances and tall units.

You will be surprised the sys roll is quite wide.

Thanks joiner.
Will check out Wolfcraft.  Take your point about the width - have to very careful sometimes with my 'industrial' sack-truck.
Richard.

didn't know the uprights were plastic..Not a deal breaker, but I am going to wait to see/touch one I think. Conceptually I love the idea of my stack being this mobile. Being that mine would travel less than one for a business it might still work well for me.

The tanos one looks like it folds.
The lee valley site has them for $295 u.s.
Not green,but that's ok.
Good luck,Chuck
