Could you give a quick reminder of the reasons...
Sure. The main problem for me was that, compared to a regular roll-board, this thing is huge - I work in mostly small Victorian houses that have a dogs-leg in the hallway at the foot of the stairs, and the Sys-Roll won't turn that corner without me moving furniture around; with a roll-board, I can just twizz it sideways and snake my way through.
Problem 2 - how do you lift it? It's rated at 100Kg, and my regular stack of systainers is ~60Kg, so to get it into the van common sense would be to tip it back on its big wheels and put a hand under the... where exactly? The only thing to grab hold of underneath is the underside of the drawer, which just doesn't feel robust enough to take the weight. Doing it the other way, with a 'dead’ lift from behind has always resulted in the systainer stack jumping off the base, as the strap really doesn't keep them secure.
There are some very nice design touches, like the material at the back of the uprights so you don't leave marks on stairs when you bump it up/down one stair at a time - but that's not something I've ever needed to do regularly, unlike getting my gear into and out of the van, which I can sometimes need to do many times a day.
In the end, it's a purely personal decision for me; I bought mine expecting it to make my life easier, and it really didn't - quite the opposite - so I simply stopped using it.
