So,like all things, once the hose is removed from the systainer ,
It refuses to go back without some coercion.

I came up with this, now I don’t have to remove the stack to use the vac.
I’ll post my thoughts when I actually use it in the field.

What’s everyone’s solution ?
Cheers,Charlie

Yup, I did. It is in that same thread ^^

But since then I have switched to a regular Sys lid, I have also swapped out the hose for the new type which fits in even better ( I shortened it by a foot too). I have swapped the SysCT cord to a 24" one and keep an 8' extension cord in the modified top Sys as well. I find it easier to put a separate coiled cord into the Sys. All of that makes it so the bent tube, one extension tube, a round brush, and the drill dust hood will also fit.  I will try to post some new pictures tomorrow.

Nice mod Seth,
I may copy you when I get fed up with my current set up.

I like it,
I started working on my version but didn’t have the correct drill bit,
To lazy to go to the store. Worked yesterday and Monday .
Tomorrow ,

I also replaced my hose with the new version and find it MUCH easier to store in the original systainers.

I used a forstner bit, a dremel with spiral bit, hack saw for the straight parts.

Cleaned it up with hand files, sandpaper, and such.
