SYS3 Bins - 3D Files for printing your own

Could someone recommend a filament that is close to RAL 7035 and is available in the US? I see that I ColorFabb has a PLA Economy filament which is RAL7035, but don't want to pay the ~$40 in shipping to the US :)

FWIW, PLA is not a workshop stable material IMHO. It can deform if left somewhere hot, like a car in the summer, or an uninsulated workshop in the summer. For that reason, PETG is my go-to for functional prints. Atomic has a few that look close.

Hi.

I just printed it and it fits on a Creality Ender 5 Plus (diagonally).
The only issue is that the front tab is 5mm too long. I managed to cut it off and it works perfectly.
Thanks so much for the file.

Hopefully it can be modified.

Thanks Clint, I finally got around to printing them out. Corrected the front tab and realigned the holes to match as well (and am reprinting as we speak). If anyone else needs this STL file, the link has been corrected where it was originally posted earlier in this thread with a time stamp. All the best!  [smile]

Thanks for all the models [member=69800]BK Makes[/member] - I've printed many of them and find them very useful.

I do continue to wonder why the rails need to be so long (and indeed high) and will eventually get around to modelling something shorter that will fit in one piece on the bed of my Prusa MK3S. Most people seem to copy the Festool rails but the Bott ones (for example) are considerably different.

That's great to hear Gerry, thank you!
I was fortunate to "inherit" an Artillery V3 from my stepson and am now able to print one at a time placed diagonally across the bed. I'm keen to see if you come up with a better compact solution for the Prusa. Cheers!

[member=69800]BK Makes[/member]: curious if you ever got the bottom mat design to work?  I'm considering lining some drawers with this so I can throw in a bunch of systainer boxes

I realize this post is a bit older but I was wondering if you'd be willing to share the Fusion files for the base grid? I may be able to recreate it but figured I'd ask before diving into that process.

He guys, does anyone of you have some stl files made like this set 50x50/50x100x68 for SYS3 COMBI  M 577766 or SORTAINER SYS3-SORT3 M337

A little off topic, anyone got a source for a gridfinity conversion baseplate for the Sys3 Organizer? Ie, to convert from the 50mm bott bins to gridfinity.

Thought I had seen one but can't find it now.

Thanks.

Well, I started designing my own decided it doesn't really make sense. Just a few mm more in depth and you could have done a 6x8 gridfinity, but as it is you can only do 5x8 with a LOT of wasted space.

Back to customized Bott bins!
