Since the sys3 toolbox is only available in two heights (1.5 and 3) and ofcourse I can only fit a 2 in my spot for handtools. So I bought a 1.5 toolbox and a regular 2 and trying to hotswap the lids.
The pins in the back were easy to knock out but I was surprised by the two extra pins in the front. I cannot seem to figure out how to remove these, anyone got these out?

thanks guys, this should deff work then! Has any of you already found the sparepart number? Still 'scared' to snap of the head or something and then end up with two non-usable systainers.

Will swap 'm this weekend!

Hmmm - I don't recall for sure, is the pin on the front that same as the Classic Hing Pin?  If so, I'll have to see if i can get more in.

These look very similar indeed! I believe they have cleaverly reused these parts.

[member=71478]FestitaMakool[/member] wow that looks hellish! but very promising indeed. On my "someday"list is making a nice divider in this toolbox, but for now it will remain a full collection of basic handtools. Never but anything sharp or nice in there, but just cutters, pliers, a hammer, hex and screwdrivers etc.

Thanks!

I can report that at least the interior part (that also took some time to do) do work really well!
I’ve added places for the pliers that came with “Festool pliers in a systainer set” to fit in it too.
So with place for two drills, screwdrivers, Starret double square, bit set, spare batteries and a few odd other pieces it’s a weary complete and compact toolbox now. The new “Festool level in a SYS3 handle” seems to be mandatory now..  [wink].

Though, the new fabric tool bag probably does the same.. apart from the level  [big grin]

The Festool level doesn't fit inside the toolbox handle. It might fit if the handle is modified internally but I haven't tried yet.
