so I suppose the Sysport 500 is another NAINA item?  The 1000 just isn't large enough but I don't have enough systainers, or more correctly put, festool tools to put them in to get two of them but I could do a 1000 and a 500.  Ultimately the answer is to buy more tools but until that happens... Does it sit on top of 1000?  That would be perfect, but alas, I'm afraid, not to be...

I believe it does fit on top of the 1000 Sysport and you are right, NAINA. I like the idea of buying more tools but I suppose you could build your own custom Sysport(s).

Howard,

Up until a few years ago, Festool USA did have a Sysport 500 - item 491-921. I don't know why they discontinued that item, but is that item the one you are referring to?

At the Festool training center they had them sitting on top of one another so I think that answers your question.

Howard wanted to know if they could sit on top of each other.

Yes, but also asked about availability.

I love that picture..  On top of it is the "FestSTOOL" with a giant ear of corn.

I was surprised that most of those drawers got opened at the training class.  Lots of stuff besides festool tools and related items, a lot of general tools.

that is an obscene amount of tools.  All hail to the tabernacle of the Festool!  :P :P :P  Yes, Bob.  I believe it is.  I built one a couple of years ago but as my systainers have changed, it's not very convenient to change the locations of the drawers since the slides are fixed.  Oh well, the answer to get to sysport 1000's and then fill them up!  ;D

I guess the Jolly Green Giant was in the class to get to the top. ;D
