Has anybody tried it?  The spec for both says it can be used with 10.8v - 18v batteries.  I only have the old style CXS battery with the long bit that goes into the handle so am unable to try it myself.  Does the new style 10.8v battery for the newer CXS/TXS fit the Sysrock and Syslite?

I'd be curious to know how long the battery would last on each.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the reply.

Do Festool make other 10.8v batteries then?  I'm not aware of any except the CXS/TXS as already mentioned.

There you go, I always thought the C12 had a 12v battery.

I have learned something new today, cheers.

Disappointing it can't use the CXS batteries.  I'll perhaps try the new compact air stream batteries with the Sysrock/lite for a small form factor.

The syslite works fine with the batteries of my 10.8V C12 and and the 10.8V protool version of the DWC. But I think the 10.8V and 14.4V versions of the cordless tools are discontinued (except for the txs/csx, which use a different style battery). (They probably keep selling the batteries, because they guarantee they'll have spare parts/ consumables available for 10 years after they discontinue a tool)

I get about 8 hours of light on the Syslite with 5.2 AH 18V battery. This is on high. They tell me when its time to pack up and go home. Just got the Sysrock, so I dont know yet. But I bet it has a long runtime.

Someone I know on Twitter has the new 3.1ah battery on his sysrock dab and I'm sure he was getting at least 3 full days out of it.
