Hey Everyone,

NOTE: I tried the search, but keep getting an http error...

I got myself the MFK 700, the 1010 and 1400, all three brand new, for a song on Craigslist.

Literally still had the protective plastic coating on the bases, never used.

Only catch; They are all in Classic Systainers.

The Classics are all in great shape too, just labels peeling off; but MAN, stacking and unstacking classics stinks.

Will the classic inserts fit in new Sys3's? Or am i better off getting the new inserts too?

thanks!

Ev

They won't fit, but with a few strategic cuts here and there I'm sure you can make them fit.

A proper insert is better of course, you can order those, and won't cost much compared to the song you already sung.

The trimming needed should be minor. Lots of folks upgraded from the classic Systainer to the T-Lock version by trimming them a little, so I would imagine the difference of the new Sys version 3 is about the same. I would cut them to fit whatever Systainer you decide on. A multi-tool should do the job quickly. If you screw up...then buy new inserts.

I used knife and scissors to modify my PS-300 classic inlay to fit T-Loc.
