Personally, I'd love to see what the boxes look like from all angles (including underneath), how they fit/fasten together, how they detach from one another, how the spring-loaded lid works, how they may (or may not) stack with systainers and also to hear a comparison on how robust the ABS molding seems when compared to a Festool systainer (in other words, a review of the build-quality when compared to a systainer). The manufacturer also sells foam inserts for the Pro toolboxes and accessories for the Rack boxes. I'm eager to see how these compare to the Tanos offerings. Finally, I'm curious how the two sizes of basic tool boxes compare to Festool's SYS-Toolboxes (for instance, #499550). Thanks!

i have a combination of dewalt boxes and some other organizer things, i thought about using sortainers but i can't justify the expense, these look perfect and the price point is not bad.

The idea it so have all my power & soldering related stuff in red (mostly small switches, light-bulbs, soldering iron, connectors, etc.) and then have some of the dark grey ones for everything you need for normal room-painting (rollers, tape etc.)
I might add some of the larger ones and a rolling base later on, but for the first couple of boxes I just don't see the need.
All in all it came up to 167,99 € (incl. Tax and shipping(6,50€)). which makes an average of 28€ for each systainer.
I know, not the right way of estimating cost, but it seems quite cheap compared to what I normally spend on T-Locs.
For comparisons, I can only compare to T-Locs (standard sizes) since I don't have anything else. Maybe I'll be able to find someone around with some older ones...
The stuff is estimated to be shipping in two weeks.

I wouldn't hold my breath, if you get in two months you'll be good.
I've ordered from them 3 times now and every time it's between 2 to 3 months. I don't mind because I know this upfront and there prices are very reasonable. I've only ordered there crates in 40×30cm and 40×60cm, so maybe these boxes are different.
The quality of there crates is fantastic, I think I have 70+ currently, the oldest is almost 10 years old, and not one is damaged.
I take care of my equipment, but don't pamper it, so 10 years on the job site and in the workshop, and still going strong, for a plastic box that's an achievement.

Sizing will be the same 300×400mm and 400×600mm footprints as the systainers.
They can't deny where they've gotten the inspiration for these but they seem to make some nice additions. Quick lock lids for example, just press down and the lid is locked, is what I like most about these.
No pricing so far and off course these won't be compatible with the Systainers, but it might be an interesting option for somebody who has to start from scratch, if the price is right.

This system looks actually looks very interesting. Considering the price point and ease of access, it is extremely interesting.
I have a lot of electrical/electronics stuff etc. that I have not yet migrated to systainers due to the price level of the T-loc sortainers. This could be a good way of storing non-woodworking equipment, that will usually not be transported together with the systainers anyway. Since the footprint of these are equal to systainers, it will probably also enable the use of SYS-AZ drawers and thus to some extent allow for "co-existence". Maybe a bracket could also be made to allow for connection with systainers.
The Auer system does not bring anything new to the table, other than a well designed system with a very interesting price point. Although the rack boxes, which seems like a mix of the T-loc sortainer and rack-systainer is a very nice addition (like bosch's l-rack). Given the ease of access and interesting price point, I will probably try these at some point. Maybe I can then justify putting some of the cheaper non-woodworking stuff in a better system.

Quick update - I finally heard back from Auer Packaging. My two emails to them went unanswered as did the message I sent to them via their website's online contact form. It took my posting a comment to their facebook wall to finally get a response, which follows:
In this day and age, I have to wonder why Auer released such a competitive product (at least it appears to be competitive) in the total absence of even a single video showing the product line in use. Bizarre. Looks like we'll have to rely on user reviews.

I think they might be looking into corporate partnerships first.
In my opinion the strength of Systainers or L-Boxes comes from them being shipped to you with the product. Not from "aftermarket purchases".

If you read between the lines of Auer's response ; you'll be waiting a long time to receive these.

I've got ten projects in planning stage and none of them even have materials bought or in inventory. Let alone being far enough along to invoice the customer for.

Just to be clear, the manufacturer's statement, "But we are happy to say that this project is already in planning," refers to plans to shoot a video(s) to describe the boxes, not plans to create the boxes themselves (they are already available). When I questioned why there weren't any videos already in existence given that the boxes were released ~two years ago, the agent corrected my understanding by clarifying that the boxes have only been available since the beginning of the year. I'd read reports of the imminent release that were apparently published way in advance of the boxes becoming available. The exact response appears below:

Since it came at midnight, it looks like an automated server message, based on order date.
Since @Hans Mertens mentioned that it might be 2-3 months, due to his experience, I'm not surprised...
