I’ve messed around and uploaded models to Shapeways and found their pricing very reasonable, though never placed an order. I have used a product for smoothing 3D prints called XTC-3D with good results. Single coat, 2 part epoxy levels the ridges. I personally like being able to click it right into the stack, im still in the middle of upgrades but I cant imagine id ever not like the convenience
I will say this though
Senco pc 1010--$120
Systainer 4. $90
Parts. $75 ? Probably more
Gathering parts time ?
Ready made Rolair $475
Hmmm
But with all that said, its kind of a fun project

Therefore it can run a framing or roofing nailer where the DIY units can only run trim nailers.
Consider that before you compare the two options.
I haven't yet found a compressor that makes as much SCFM but will fit in the footprint on a Systainer.
If anyone does, post it up!
