Systainer compressor

Also made a systainer hand tool box to go with the suit, I'm going to buy one more sys4 for caulking glued sealants tapes etc and a sort sine for screws and fastening to have four dedicated site boxes that I'll put into a systainer trolley....

Based on another sys4 lacquered birch ply with nearly every hand tool needed (for me)

Lol...I was kidding  but ok cool , I personally have become a little preoccupied with Systainers lately, I have 2 empties awaiting little systainer projects and about 10 more rolling around in my head....

You should post the new stuff separately from your compressor post in fact there's a systainer tool insert thread going just a little further down the page started by Ollie I believe,  everyone's showing pics of there's over there. Yours is pretty noteworthy and different from the others you should check it out and load the pic there
Just a suggestion

Very nicely done . I just chopped up my Senco tonight and got it jammed in a sys 4  , just looking at options to run it with the lid closed , I am curious about the recessed plate you have for the air chuck/regulator where or what you made it from ? Thanks for posting ..

the recessed plate is an aluminium baking tray found on ebay from china it was around 99p posted from china should be a similar cost to the states i think

cant find the link but a search for small baking tray should find it

chris

will post the hand tool systainer on the other thread

Hey chris, where did that trim piece come from that the coupling and pressure knob is recessed into

OK got it, I had a feeling it was something like that ,very clever

The post above has the detail - it's a aluminium baking tray.

Couldn't find the mac 610 available here in the states, the makita ac64 looks like a suitable alternative , oh wait maybe that's only available in UK and shipped here for $32.00
Or maybe I should check the dimensions of the mac 700
Big fan of their compressors trying to make it happen. .. lol

Hmmm maybe it's not available stateside. I had a Google search of the actual part numbers of the components inside the compressor but turned up nothing, bostitch also make the same compressor identical to the Makita one

I did briefly consider making them to sell but too be honest would be more hassle that it's worth they aren't quick to make and cost of systainer and compressor would mean I'd have to sell them on for like £400+

I am sure there would be a few folks here that would buy them at that price Chris...

You did a bang up job and I am looking to migrate my Senco 1010 to a Sys 5. Your's is by far one of the most professional looking ones thus far.

Cheers. Bryan.

The best thing I ever did buying a senco and putting it in a SYS 5. I was using it this week building some bookcases in a large room. At one point I put it on my SYS roll board and you can just roll it round easily. I don't use my big noisy and heavy compressors much now.

Also getting the Bostitch pro hoze helped its so light and flexible you hardly notice it
