3 for sure - maybe 4 if you take out the stiffener along the back.

I was just looking into this yesterday on the leevalley website.  According to their website, four minis will fit within either the classic or t-loc.  See photo.

Only festool branded systainers come with the back stiffener. None of my Tanos systainers have one.

what might one put into one of these?

They sent me one from the video contest two years ago.  I thought it was cute, but wasn't sure how I'd make use of something that small.  I ended up putting all my small hand tools in it.  Then I realized I needed another.

I have one that's just chisels.  Another for the household hand tools in the junk drawer, so I take the whole set instead of running up and down stairs, and the junk drawer stays less cluttered.  I just ordered three more, I figure I'll put my knob/pull drilling jigs and Vix bits, etc. in one for an install kit.  I'm sure I'll figure out how to set up the other kits, probably one that's just for a crimper/stripper and a dividers for solderless connectors, I'll see where the other ones take me.
