Systainer Super Stack

Yeah, why so many guitars, and what types?

I have 3 guitars, an electric, a classic and a western guitar. Just bought the western (Aria) for €55 and been playing the heck out of it, love it. Wish I could get a Taylor or Martin, but they're out of my league right now.

Sad to say I'm probably the worst person in the world at guitar .. I just love something about them. I'm a lefty, everyone else in the family are righties - so I find excuses to buy anything I could possibly (at some magical distant point in the future) play myself, or anything the kids could play.

Prominent there on the left are the cases of 4 custom made Cole Clark electric acoustics .. the stack towards the right are various Fenders. There are many more. Once we're settled somewhere with a bit of space I'll get them out and share some pics.

I get very excited when people visit and have an ounce of skill, as I'm elated when any of them get played in a way that sounds at least half decent [embarassed] [smile]

I recently got rid of a Kurt Cobain Jaguar replica ... it was honestly horrible.  I keep those I really like. I do have a lot of very nice stuff, but I honestly think the sweetest sound comes from a Yamaha acoustic that's worth less than $1K AUD.

Thanks....I was just wondering, after all you are from the land of Tommy Emmanuel (and down under of course). I jockey around with 3 Taylor acoustics and a walnut telecaster...

[member=41086]Vondawg[/member] you CANNOT say Walnut Telecaster without offering up a photo [eek] [mad] [big grin]

Also need year, detail of pickups, etc. Yeh - guitar techno nerd syndrome (GTNS).

Kev - just want to say thanks.  Seriously.  I showed my wife your stack and suddenly she was more than satisfied with the diminutive size of mine.  [tongue]

[member=13058]Kev[/member] - how come I don't see a FOGtainer in that stack ?  [tongue]

[member=727]antss[/member] never seen one in Oz [embarassed] [sad]

Just because you haven't seen one doesn't mean they aren't there.  They are.

ok Kev- not to hi-jack the thread...you may or may not be interested if you're a purists, I built two Tele's with Variax 500 electronics and mag pick-ups also...Seymour Duncan, Little Debbie humbucker and each string has a pickup under it, in the saddle...the necks with SS frets are Warmoth... played thru an amp I built out of the same walnut fell in my yard.

Interesting thread!

I thought I had a few Systainers too many - turns out I am just half way down that sink hole...  [blink]

...now whenever someone comments on my abundance of Systainers I can point them in the direction of this thread and tell them, "nah, I don't have THAT many..."  [big grin]

In that big stack are those 7 planex systainers I count and why do they look like t-locks instead of classics? I thought they didn’t make those in t-lock?

They look like MIDI Systainers. The Planex comes in a MAXI Systainer which isn't available in T-LOC.

Those are Midi Systainers. They are available in a Sys-II and Sys - III height. Same dimension as regular front to back but about 4" wider. They are designed to so that they will still stack and lock to regular T-Locs.

That's a good question, dont know. Festool serial numbers are on the systainer as well. If your not familiar with them, you might need to know where to look for em.

I'm pretty new to the whole Festool world and haven't gone looking too close for them yet (probably should do that).  I'm generally like a kid in a candy store when I get a new tool and want to use it.  On a more thread related note, I'm pretty sure my wife to be would kill me if I had a collection that big.

I know what you mean, I have to hide all my systainer/Festool purchases, I feel like I'm secretly a crack addict for Festool  :o

You'll feel better when you come out of the Sysport [wink]

Actually the numbers are on the Systainer.
On line (21) the last 8 numbers on that line is the S-Nr. # of the tool and the 6 numbers in front of the S-Nr. # are the tool number or T-Nr.
