"equipped individually with 23 different Einsatzpappschachteln

10 x 120x60x70 mm
10 x 60x60x70 mm

If I knew what an Einsatzpappschteln was that would help. LOL  It is fun to try ad say that though!

So it is a Sys-storage box full of empty containers?

After spending the last week trying to order RAACO inserts for my Rack-Tainer, appropriately sized empty containers isn't a bad option.

Yes the little cardboard boxes (23) fit into the systainer and together with the systainer itself (no 24) work as a Christmas calendar....

It could have been a lot cooler if they would have put something in each of the cardboard boxes and made it an actual advent calendar/box. It could have been nothing more than a driver bit or a blade, which would only cost a few cents each.

No are what I'd do with the cardboard boxes. I can think of LOTS of stuff to put in them, but I'd be concerned about durability?

That's 10 euros cheaper than the regular SYS-SB that comes with 2x 60x60, 2x 60xx120 and 1x 180x120 (plastic) boxes.

If it's sturdy cardboard then it would make a nice solution for keeping your assortment screws, bolds etc. Maybe dealers will get the same idea and offer this X-Mas box filled with Spax (or whatever is popular at your place) screws. I know I would be tempted  ;)

That's a GREAT idea! Any dealers up to it? Tom Bellemare is the master of sandpaper assortments - wonder if he'd consider adding screw assortments to his arsenal ?

Wayne, great idea but I cannot imagine the weight of that Systainer fully laden with screws and trying to ship it.

Highland Hardware has a Sys1 loaded with 1300 spax screws. They don't show a weight, but it ships for less than $13 so it can't be all THAT heavy?

The Highland Hardware one has 100 pieces each of 13 different screws, while this has space for 23 ... so adjust the weight accordingly.

John, after a few days going back and forth with a weekend in the middle it looks like I am getting close.  A supplier in the UK has agreed to ship to Canada.  The problem I am having is that I think he waits until the end of his workday to contact me and then with the time change it takes another day for me to answer.  Tomorrow I will just call there.  Is there a source in the States that you know of?

I have a sys 3 filled to the brim with my small screws, weighs 11 kg /23 pounds. The SYS - Storagebox can hold a lot less.

Thanks for posting that info Alex. That's right in line with what I was thinking at maybe 25 pounds of so.
