I use that setup myself!
I bolted a sys4 to a Sys-cart and cut the handle arm off the Senco PC1010 to fit it in.
You can buy an "attic lid" (what it's called) as spare parts via EKAT/Festool USA for around 35-40$. I simply bought one of the Tanos SYS-2s from Lee Valley and swapped out the lid onto SYS4. It holds an air nozzle, spare gun tips, and my two most common fastener sizes.  The Sys4 has enough room to fit air hose and some tubes of construction adhesive.
On top of all that I am using a Sys-Midi for three finish guns, fasteners, a caulk gun, and miter clamps. I use to have all that in another Sys4, but find the Sys-Midi's longer horizontal expanse makes keeping organized a little easier.
I should shoot some photos

To my knowledge, which is limited and someone feel free to correct me, you can't get the Festool Systainer with attic lid here.

[welcome] to the FOG!

Unfortunately the Festool lid-sort lid, sometimes called an 'Attic' lid, is NAINA (Not Available In North America). You can get a nearly identical product from Tanos, sold by Lee Valley.

BTW, Tanos is the company that designed and actually makes the Systainers. They and Festool have the same parent company.

Thanks (again). You welcomed me a while back.  [big grin]

I don't post much... just read and learn.

Thanks for giving the better answer. I thought everything you said to be true but I didn't want to misinform in case I was wrong.

Thanks for the quick response Joseph C. I would love to see some pics of your setup as I have a lot of questions. When you say you cut the handle do you mean you removed the whole handle cage that wraps around the bottom? I tried to fit my little senco in a sys3 just to see if the footprint was right. The front to back dimension of the compressor was too big by a tad. I'm thinking if I remove the handle/rollbar/cage assembly then it would fit. What about venting? Also, do you have the power and air hookups accessible through the side of the systainer or do you open the lid during use? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks!

I live right next to Germany... but still hard to source Tanos products. They pretty much only have dealers inside Germany.
