Hello,

Just want to share my modified systainer.
I wanted a systainer with a reel with an plug-it connector for use on a CT22.
A nearby second-hand store had a Nilfisk GM 200 vacuumcleaner with a working reel for 3.50 Euro.

Pictures say more than thousand words, so ...

Excellent idea.  Is the reel a new part or was it re-purposed from something else?

Thank you for sharing!

You should have incorporated multiple sockets on the systainer.
I sometimes need 2 or 3 sockets when connecting 2 machines and a battery-loader for instance.
You then only have to swap the hose on the machines which is a quick action.
The Plug-it power connector though sometimes takes more time to connect the right way.

You know, because my hose and plug-it cord are wrapped together, I think I would rather have the extractor's cord in a reel like that.  You could mount it inside the hose garage.

Hello,

The reel was re-used from a Nilfisk GM 200 (and the retraction knob)

Greetings

PS: It is not my intention to sell these, just showing my solution for my environment.

Very nice. And welcome to the forum!

So you could put the hose in another systainer attached tot he top of the cord systainer.

First, [welcome] to the FOG!

Great first post! Glad to see someone else who thinks modifying Systainers is a good idea!

[thumbs up]

that's very cool. I have to say though that the power cord that really pisses me off is the collector's cord. I understand why its as beefy as it is, but that doesn't change that its dang unruly ... not sure how it would behave with a coil of some sort, but it would be excellent.
