T 15+3 drill

I have a Wera Rapidaptor bit holder on order, should be here in a day or two.  I am planning on modifying this to fit in the centrotec chuck.  No, it's probably not as good has having a chuck which itself accepts the 1/4" bits, but I am hoping it is good enough.

This is indeed a great thread. I am also rapidly converting to many festools; 2xMFT, 2xCT, domino, sanders, track saw, OF1010, they are all great. I have more appetite but am holding right in front of drills and Kapex. It is interesting to see there are others in the same place, sharing the same thought. I really admire CXS. Every time I visit a local dealer, I play around with it and want it. Actually the only reason I didn't buy it several months ago was because it was out of stock. I badly wanted a small driver back then. So, I just went to Home Depot and picked up an M12 hex head driver, which was on sale at only $99 with two batteries. Now I'm scratching my head. Yes, after 10 years of woodworking, I fed up with the stuff from China; many of them do perform decently but lack precision. That's why I'm willing to pay extra $ to Festool. But this little thing, M12, is good. CXS may be better, I don't know, but I have other agenda to use my $. So, the priority to spend my $500 or more (drill + centrotech) for Festool drills is at this moment very low. Currently my "small driver" arsenal is M12 and Bosch PS10. With these two, I can deal with almost any situations. Because M12 has  finer control, I usually use it for driver and PS10 for pre-drilling, all with hex quick-release heads.
