T-18 sortainer or attic lid?

I recently purchased a T-18 and it is great.  Now the next thing on my mind is a bit more organization.  Specifically when it comes to the systainer.

I want some opinions, especially from those who have done the same.  Here is what I'm thinking...

1.  I can add an attic lid to my systainer (possibly need an upgrade to a sys-2 to make it fit) to hold spare bits, drivers, and other accessories

or

2.  I was at Tool Town today, and noticed I can fit the drill, all the chucks, and 3 batteries in the big drawer of the 4 draw sortainer.  I would get some Kaizen foam (which the guys at Tool Town now have in stock if anyone was looking for another source)  to organize the drawer.  Then I have tons of space in the remaining three draws up top for all the odds and ends.

Aside from the sortainer being a bit heavier than a similarly sized systainer, I don't see any downsides.

So send me some opinions, they will be greatly appreciated  [big grin]

Daniel

P.S.  I wasn't sure the best place to put this thread, whether it should be under tools, tool improvements, or systainers.  So if it's in the wrong spot, moderators, please move it.  Thanks

Hi Daniel,
you need will need to take an Sys-2 because of the hight of the batterie. I did the same with my C12 Li.
If you go to the Protool website a pay a look to the inserts for bits for the attic lid systainers. These parts will be sold seperately in the near future by Festool (Information from Festool hotline this autum). What that means for you NA is not clear to me. May be Shaun can make a statement about that.

Thanks for the reply Ingo.  I doubt these parts will be in the US any time soon.

Any other suggestions?  There has to be someone on here that has done this before to give some input.
