The title says it all.

New products: C12, C15, T18, CT48, Centrotec Set, Zobo bits.

The sander promo: 10% off ETS 125, ETS 150, RO 90, RO 125, RO 150, Shinex and RAS 115 as well as related accessories and abrasives.

What's on your list and why?

Why?  Because they are GREEN.  [wink]

I also want to get a Systainer for the RO90 abrasives -- is that -10% also?

Honestly, I want the RO90 for the Delta detail capability and I don't have any of the Centrotec bits.

Excuse me, Shane. Does not the new cloth-like filter bags for the CT22 and CT33 also launch on Saturday, 1 October?

I pre-ordered several cartons of CT22 bags, as well as 3 of the Centrotec bit sets.

Although I have enough sanders, since the Festools last so long, I have ordered what I expect to be enough abrasives to last my shop through most of 2012.

My cunning plan is the savings on the paper will pay for my next trip to Henderson for a class.

Yes, sir. It sure is. Abrasives systainers are included in the 10% off.

Yes, Carroll. You're right, they do. I keep thinking we had already launched those. Too much going on for me to keep up with it all! Thanks for the reminder.

Alas, nothing on that list, likely.

I picked up some centrotec goodies already, since I didn't think I'd use the full kit. Though I'd admit that those stubby bits are enticing. And I'll sing the praises of the brad point bits that I just had a chance to use.

If I was going to get a new sander, I'd lean for the LS130. And some of that Granat foam-backed hand powered paper.

On the other hand, if I find out that that vac-clamp is arriving on Oct 1, I'll have to revise my remarks  [big grin]

Centrotec Set for me...maybe will spring for some abrasives with the 10% coupon.

I have to save up for your 2012 product introductions :)

No new products in 2012. Spend your money now. Thank you, drive thru.  [poke]

Seriously, good choice on the Centrotec Set. Heck, you could probably sell the thing for 1.5x what you paid for it in 6 months.

Just a small order of abrasives for me.  Although there were a few times today I wish I had a T18 for drilling and screwing Ipe.  The belt hook would be most welcome, I was stuck using another brand dill and impact because my T15 drills don't have the  belt hook. [sad]

I already preordered the fleece bags for the CT22's. I'm considering the C-15 as I prefer the C style drills but I already purchased the T-15 when they went promo pricing...so unless I sell the T-15, that's out.

I'm well set up with centrotec bits that I don't see the need for the centrotec set...so, I'm really holding out for that handheld driver that Shane promised will come later this year!!!

I'll also be looking to get some Granat paper!!!

Bob

The top of my list is the new c12.

When I was at class, I was using both the cxs and the new c12. The c12 was nearly the same size, and it just felt a lot nicer.

I will probably also look at a RO90/MIDI combo with paper. A 10% discount on the sander AND vacuum will be nice!

I can't wait for the robotic bird in a systainer 4!  Hope the droppings are metallic so cleanup is easy in the house.

I don't remember that being on the extensive list.

Patience Grasshopper.  Patience.  [big grin]

CMS router module NAINA from the UK.

Oh sorry, didn't mean to rub it in! But Shane did ask what is on the October shopping list.

ETS150/3, 150 Sys, 90 Sys, and plenty of paper for both. Wish I could afford the T18.

No new products in 2012?! When will we see the Carvex? I've had money stashed for one since March.

I have the Zobo Forstner bit set and Centrotec Installers set pre-ordered.  I will also pick up a T-Loc 4 or 5 to replace my craftsman toolbox  [smile].  The centrotec set will be totally worth it.  I've been holding out on bits/holders and the last 2 projects (including a counter-top replacement tonight) I kept thinking to myself, "if only I had the set right now!"

I'm also really looking forward to the Zobo set.  I'm going to buy a 15mm colt and maybe another brand to see the difference between those and the Zobo bits.

I have my order in:
  • Festool 498796 98 Piece Centrotec Installers Set
  • Festool 571823 RO 90 DX Rotex Sander
  • Festool 497374 Rubin D 90 P80, 50 pack
  • Festool 497375 Rubin D 90 P100, 50 pack
  • Festool 497376 Rubin D 90 P120, 50 pack
  • Festool 497377 Rubin D 90 P150, 50 pack
  • Festool 497378 Rubin D 90 P180, 50 pack

All Summer I've been wanting the RO 90 DX as there are a few things I need to do where the RO150 is just too big for.  Now that it's 10% off, I have to jump on it.  Then, I've been waiting patiently for the Centrotec Set.  I was so tempted to buy a "European" set when in Switzerland this summer.  The tool store down the road from my hotel was like a Festool Mecca and they had one on display, but it was $$$$$$ ($700 before VAT) due to the weak dollar versus the Swiss Frank.

Well its the Centrotec set for me and while I was spending the Zobo set was added to the deal. For now thats it, but as always when I get to Tool Nut and see Sean who knows....
