The systand has got a little brother: the T-systand.
It's made of Baltic birch-multiplex, beech-wood and stainless steel.
the T-systand is a one piece worktop, solid , rigid and tough.

the T-systand fits the T-loc perfectly, just like the systand fits the classic.
a combined locking mechanism would lead to ill fitting on the classic, just like the T-loc doesn't fit the classic too well.

there is only one height, the systainer system already provides ample possibilities for height adjustments
[attachimg=18]
the systainers can of course be opened with the T-systand on top.

in this design there was chosen to keep the underside open. so there will not be any collection of dust inside, and it can stay a solid one peace workbench.
It was not designed for storage, the systainer already provides that function.

the top of the T-systand is rectangular with sharp edges, just like the systand, because it's the most practical to work with.
the underside is cut off to prevent cords from getting stuck
