Hi everyone, first post here. I've been curious and couldn't find any info on this issue.

Apart from the new batteries/sets and now the new SYS3, is the T18+3 the same drill as it when it was launched back in 2010?

Looking at old posts on the forum, when it was announced it had lower torque specs compared to what it's on the Festool website today. Maybe they just improved on the motor? Is there any info on this?

Can you tell revisions apart? (assuming indeed it has been updated on the last 10 years)

Other than the addition of the LED light and the belt clip, I thought it was the same as when released myself. . Still the nicest drill I’ve ever used imo.

There is no longer a battery indicator on the back of the drill. New drills are made in Czech Republic. Original versions were made in Germany. The belt hook changed as well - used to be on the battery pack and now you can screw it into the body of the drill and is a better design, IMHO - however, I generally do not use belt hooks so that is not that big of a deal to me. It is a great drill.
