T18 Not Working

Hello All!

After cutting four 3" holes my T18 has stopped working despite having a fully charged, healthy battery.  It has been hours since it stopped.  All it does is blink.

It seemed a little warm after cutting the first hole, so it got a rest in between holes.  It only beeped a few times and only when it would catch on the material.  The clutch was set to 25.

I have tried just about everything including the following:  change battery; adjust every green dial, switch, button in every configuration I could think of; hold trigger while removing and replacing battery; and last but not least... hit it with open fist.

Do you have any suggestions?  (Other than send it in of course)

Thank you for your time.

Is it blinking and not working under no load at all?

When I activate the trigger the LED illuminates then starts blinking under no load.  At times it stays steady.

I think you're probably going to need to contact our service department for assistance. Sorry. If I can help facilitate that, let me know. Feel free to send me your name, phone number and a convenient time to call and I can have someone reach out to you tomorrow.

Shane,

You have been helpful to so many for so long.  Never thought I would experience it firsthand.

Thank you for your offer.  My local (one hour away) Woodcraft has a great owner.  If he has another drill in stock he may let me use one while this one gets sent in.  I will find out tomorrow.  Can't be without a drill for too long since I am in the middle of three jobs.  Got rid of my makita set and only have a CXS in addition to the t18.  Didn't think I would need a backup drill so soon.

Thanks again for the offer.  And, thank you for being so active in the forum.
