I've had my T-18 Li-on drill for several weeks now and just love it. I had looked at the CXS before going with the T-18, and actually found the T-18 to be much more comfortable to handle, even with the added weight. The T-18's center of balance is in the middle of your hand when you hold it. It maintains this center of balance no matter which way you're pointing the drill (up, down, sideways). It feels lighter than it actually is because of this. I thought the CXS was forward heavy, especially with the drill chuck attached. The other feature of the T-18 that to me is a major selling point is the electronic clutch.
With regard to impact drivers, if you're going to do a lot of fastening on a major project, they are much easier on your hands. You feel very little torque against your hand. But for precision work, I don't think the T-18 can be beat.
