Is this going to look like it's been "built by a committee" [big grin]

It looks like its not being build at all, its eleven now and not so much as a bit of leg..

The queues in Ikea can be a nightmare.....

...went once to the Croydon store and have never been back...... [wink]

Extended tea break and dont forget its POETS day [big grin] [big grin] [big grin]

Good point. [big grin] Though it is 5 o'clock, lets just hope everyone at Festool HQ still has 10 digits and the exercise wasn't cut short.

........target was hit by the team [smile] and of course all digits accounted for.

Looking at the Twitter feed your having a fun day [member=41214]Phil Beckley[/member]  [big grin]. Is any one in the building not involved? What's the finish going to be?

Hey Jools
All in internal staff have been involved through four sessions - Finance, Service, Internal sales and my colleagues from Marketing. Most have not used the kit before so a cool learning exercise.
The finish is the Heavy Duty oil from Festool, will be completed next week but we got the tops with the first cost.

Is that the finished product with the Dominos exposed?  Good advert for people who visit the office to show the Dominos as a functional part of the table and what they are used for; but really don't like the practicality for a meeting table with pens, paper, etc!

Hi
It is a simple way to joint tops and sure show the Domino system  [smile]. This is the same way I get the tops joined on the dealer course project. For the tops the Dominos are not glued so the timber can move freely, turn buttons on the underside do the work to hold the top on.

Height of the table is also perfect for any screen presentations.

Hi
On April 15th Festool U.K internal staff will be building a table from American Cherry through the day. I will post the progress of the build and it will be done with the Domino Connectors for the D.F 700 and of course machines from the rest of the Festool line up.
So all is ready in the Training room and hopefully by late afternoon all will be complete

Why doncha film the build and post it on festool TV?

[wink]
