Wow, that fence extrusion is a beast [eek]
If you're interested in an extruded fence, check out Very Super Cool Tools. I have one and absolutely love it.

Thanks for the info on the Very Super Cool Tools fence. I have a Sawstop PCS and suffer from the same issues with the fence as have been mentioned here so this gave me the push to do something about it. Unfortunately that was more difficult than I would have thought. I have a 3hp PCS with 30" capacity to the right of the blade. I have a small shop and I needed to go with the smaller capacity for the saw to fit. This isn't an issue for me as I always use my TS75 in my garage to cut sheet goods anyway.
What I discovered is that the Sawstop 30" fence rails are non-standard. Instead of the standard 2" x 3" Biesemeyer rail the Sawstop rail is on 1 9/16" square and the Very Super Cool Tools Fence won't work. I contacted Sawstop and they don't sell the larger rails separately; they only sell them with another one of their fences [sad]
The folks at Very Super Cool Tools were very helpful through this process. They pointed me to a set of rails sold by Grizzly that is currently on closeout for $115. So what could have been as simple as swapping one fence for another has now turned into a real project as I'm sure the new fence rails will have to be drilled to fit the mounting holes on the Sawstop.
So, if you are in the market for a Sawstop be aware that the 30" capacity fence system is non-standard and if you want to upgrade your fence in the future you are going to have to replace the rails to use a fence from another manufacturer.
