Tapatalk on Android- Not loading thread on first click

I have to open a thread....get an empty page, go bakc and open the thread again to see it. Galaxy Note3 latest version of Tapatalk and Android for Note3

I have had the same problem with the current android tapatalk.  I have Tapatalk 4.1.0 on a different android device that has auto-update turned off for that app and that older Tapatalk version works fine viewing threads.  A drawback to 4.1.0 though is that editing an existing post usually fails.

The issue must be with the app. I don't have that problem on iOS and I checked to make sure the forum had the latest version installed and it does.

Very odd that it's just on this forum I have no problems with any of the other forums I'm on

It's possible that it's just on SMF forum software that there's a problem. VBulletin is a much more poplar forum platform.

I just tried it again on my iPhone and it worked fine. There was a recent update on iOS for Tapatalk too.

Thanks for the reply Shane.

It very well could be some combination of the app, board-software (SMF).

My guess is it is not some glitch particular to the phone I have (given others have same problem) nor the client version or android version (I'm using the latest available in both).

Festool needs to get you an android phone to troubleshoot with Tapatalk staff?!

Thanks, Christopher. I had looked at the Tapatalk support forum before my earlier post. I did see that and don't think it's related. We've been on Tapatalk 2.1.1 on the forum for some time now. The only thing that has changed is the Android app.
