Thank You for Notifying us about Spam

Perhaps all the coffee and Spam consumption explains why my honey is always pushing "curiously strong mints"
(the Altoids tins also make for great organization, especially for a natural born slob like me!!!!)

I am big on the coffee containers, but I prefer Maxwell house as the containers have a proper handle :)

And to stay on topic, love SPAM but dont have it much/often. Maybe that is why I still like it

I loved SPAM as a kid - even like grilled SPAM and pineapple toasted sandwiches ... don't think I could stomach one now  [blink]

Then there was the tinned corned beef ...

Hi Kev

Were you eating Spam and Corned Beef in England? I imagine they make something out of kangaroos for the poor in Australia!

The poor in Australia eat fried boat people (oops - meant to say Soylent Green).

Mum and dad didn't think food was "real" unless it came out of a tin - and they carried that thinking to Australia. My mum was a terrible cook - I remember her boiling steak when I was about 8 years old.

My stomach didn't function properly until I left home  [sad]

So Peter , did you ever get around to eating the can of Spam?

Yes I did.  Fried in thin slices.  One at a time.  Kind like dipping your toe into a hot bath.  Me - not a gorgeous model.  It was ok.  Another member here swore in private on his daughter's camera to send me tried and true recipes but has been busy and ...

He is forgiven.  I did not finish the can nor did I save it for fastener storage.

One culinary delicacy to try marked off my list and on the next one.  [popcorn]

Willy, politely I decline.  Spam doughnuts and turnover images?

Thank you.
