Recently, I bought a used TXS drill for a great price. It's in good condition but just came with the drill, two batteries and the charger. This means I need a new Systainer and insert. Called Festool today and the Customer Service rep told me that it's not part of EKAT and something I had to order through the dealer network. Cool, no problem. She looked it up and gave me the six digit part number and I was on my way.
Called up my local Woodcraft and asked them to put it in their next round of orders, gave them the number and thought all was set, I should have it in a week or so. Cool. But the guy calls me back a few minutes later and says that he can't match the number and the number that I gave him was coming up as a saw blade. Well, that's odd. Let me call CS back.
This time, I get a different rep, who's also very nice and explain to her what happened. That I had called, got the number, can't match the number, and she asks my name, addess and tells me not worry, they're going to send me the insert complimentary. Wow.
Wasn't quite expecting that. But I am grateful. Thanks Festool!
