Yeh i know the history, would be nice to see a saw with that depth of cut without a huge blade

Aha, I see it has a special blade, didn't notice that before. That's quite something different yeah.

Kinda looks like the same blade design to the Husqvarna  I saw on youtube a while ago

Problem with them is maintenance I believe  and with the Holz-her one cutting a lot of wood I recon a lot of dust etc can get all stuck inside the moving parts between the blade and the wheels which spin the blade
