The 2nd questin: TS55 or TS75?

This is the second question regarding my shopping list, for the guys who happened to read the "bs75&ETS or Ro" thread.

I'm used to working with 2" stock wood. I changed my mind from yearning for a cs50 to yearning for a mft, but can't decide on the right table saw. I'm not saying 2" is what I need to cut everyday, only after I bought it and cut it to size, before it goes through the thicknesser. That means, precision cuts need to be done somehwere in the range of 1 1/2" wooden boards and sub 1" boards.

Being stuck with my somewhat skinny arms the ts75 is a bit heavy, especially needing to put it on and off the rail. While speaking of depth only, the ts55 could handle 2" stock - but what about real work? Is the ts55 up to go through 2" stock, with the right blade?

The BS for TS, we all know what BS is, don't we??

He just wanted you to change bs to TS Goerge. BS is bandsaw. And for the record, Rob uses the TS75, I've got the TS55

8)I keep forgetting you don't get the bs75 - it's festools smaller Belt sander with a 3" belt, the bs 105 ist the 4" one. ;D

Right sorry. Brain fart. I actually own a BS75 would you believe?!?. I'm American, but live in Australia. Sorry. Totally misread your question, because I was thinking of your other thread, a TS75. For flattening panels, the belt sander is best, no question.
