To further the discussion...

I used to work with a gentleman named, SB. SB had no first name, just his initials. I now know all sorts of people that have two first names and it seems unfair, (Raymond James, etc.).

SB told me that his grandmother used to make hominy and that the method she used was to soak oak coals in water and throw in the corn. I've never done this but apparently, the corn bloats and the outer part sloughs off and the result is hominy.

To make grits, that hominy is then dried and ground.

Biscuits were the one that puzzled me lol. I went into a Popeye restaurant while in Florida and the fried chicken came with biscuits. I thought why would you want biscuits ie chocolate biscuits with chicken. Then I saw them and they're like what we call cobblers here. Very similar to scones.

Oh don't worry our shoe repairers are cobblers too. Cobblers also means when someone is talking bull here

As a Newbie I'd love to do this, I finish a 6 week stint up in york on the 17th then back to gloucester to possibly move house up to rubery but I am trying to delay it till the end of june for my own sanity.

can I please be a maybe? I do have 20 year old tools and systainers badged festo which are original to me afterall [huh]

Oh I'm in Huntingdon near Cambridge it's a hour train ride from London. Pretty close. Lots of NAINA stuff will be there.

If your in London check out Toucan Tools,.

They're not the cheapest but has the largest amount of Festools in stock and on display I've seen, everything including Festool bling. They are in London.

It will be great to have another yank here mate, I'll add ya to the list.

Oh I have plenty of NAINA stuff for ya to play with.

Phil will bring anything ya want to look at.

Just let him know.

You'll like the guys great bunch this lot.

Last year the guys brought some good stuff.

So whats the start approximate start time? I am in Hannover in Germany on Friday June 19th so this could work out... Put me on the list of probable attendee's.

Willing to bring some NAIEU stuff for folks if this firms up on my side....

Also is there a placed to stay overnight closeby...?

Hannover - Stansted airport is direct and takes about 1hr 15mins and a Holiday Inn is close by.
