The Drated Yellow Glove

I just heard back from IT. All members should now be able to delete their own posts. Please let me know if that is still not the case.

It that forever available or only in the first xx hours / days after posting?

Because I've seen other forums get completely ruined in older threads because some people deleted their posts.

I see it available for all posts .. and that is exactly what I will be doing soon .. wiping *most* of my older posts, keeping only those worthy of "publishing" permanently.

Keep in mind the alternative is deleting my account, thus all posts.

Because I will be looking for a new job soon .. and this profile is traceable to my real me. Anything that would be politically "unfitting" of the positions I will be shooting for must go. That includes any posts made during "workdays".
Includes these posts, of course. The NSAs of the world have them archived, of course, but I not shoot for working for those guys ..

I'm sure there would be a lot of posts you may not consider worthy of retaining but many others would. I think wholesale deletions are a bad idea, and could destroy the relevant threads.

Ok just saw your update, and I fully understand your view.

The big guys were watching before FOG.

I knew a guy who got fired from his sales job back in the mid 1990s. He got caught heading home early when his boss checked the E-Z Pass invoice.
