It's pretty rare that I get an order for two identical pieces. But that is the case here. These are for two of my grandsons. So now, all of my kids, their spouses, and all of the grand-kids have one of my dressers (that's 16 total). So, I think I'm done with dressers for a while.

I got real lucky with this build - all of the drawer fronts were cut from a single cherry board 18" wide X 12 feet long. I don't often see cherry boards that large. Thanks for looking.

Cheers.

Nice work!  The grain in the drawers really pops!  Time to get going on night stands!

Beautifully done. Love that you were able to get those fronts from one board. Thanks for sharing.

Nice! It's really great to get all of those fronts from the same board.
Any pics during construction?

Thanks for all the kind words.

[member=65451]Steve1[/member] The finish is 2 coats of GF Arm-R-Seal gloss followed by a third coat of the same in semi-gloss. All oil based.

[member=58857]Crazyraceguy[/member] I tried to post some pics but they didn't make it. Probably too large. I'll try again here with smaller file sizes and break into multiple posts.

The base frames are mitered front, butt joints at back all reinforced with dominoes.

The bracket feet are mitered with dominoes, roughed out on the band saw and finished with the oscillating spindle sander. They get attached to the base frame with glue and screws.

More later (hopefully)

Thanks CRG.

The web frames (visible in the background of the pic of the base frame) get glued to the plywood sides with dadoes and screws.

The drawers are conventional, HB dovetails in front, backs in dadoes and the prefinished birch ply bottoms slide in grooves and screwed to the backs. I finish the insides of the drawers with clear shellac.

Cheers
